Marcia Exelrud is the founder and CEO for the company Bright Light Designs, Inc. Mrs Exelrud has 25 years experience and speaks fluent English, Portuguese and Spanish.
Marcia Exelrud received her Bachelors degree of Arts, Architecture and Interior Design in 1988 in Brazil. She started her professional career in Brazil planning various residential and commercial interior design projects. Working closely with Interior Designers and Landscape Architects she created lighting designs for the Fortaleza Airport, a Riverside walk, shopping centers, restaurants, retail stores, and innumerous residences. She completed also various governments projects like an Underground tourist cave in Brazil, Cultural Center, museums, etc. Marcia's professional portfolio includes lighting design for theaters, libraries, hospitals, and hotels.
In 2002 Marcia Exelrud founded the company Bright Light Designs, Inc. in Miami, Florida. She has expanded to Broward and Palm Beach counties. Mrs. Exelrud opened new markets for the firm, by approaching the project business in the Architect, Landscape Architect, and Interior Design community.
Green Energy Efficient Lighting is one of the keys of Good Lighting Design. Bright Light Designs specializes in finding creative solutions that reduce energy costs without compromising the quality of the lighting.
Marcia Exelrud is a member of the International Association of Lighting Designers and the United States Green Building Council (USGBC).
